Katie Maloney doesn't have any regrets when it comes to the demise of her friendship with Stassi Schroeder.

Katie Maloney Talks 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 4

After Maloney decided to go to Miami with her boyfriend Tom Schwartz for the bachelor/bachelorette party of Scheana Marie, Schroeder felt betrayed and ended their friendship during filming on Vanderpump Rules season 4. In a new interview, Maloney said the end of their friendship was Schroeder's loss.

"At the end of the day, if it’s going to be something that dumb that causes Stassi to toss out an amazing friend, then you know what? Sorry I’m not sorry,” Maloney explained to Cupid's Pulse on Monday.

While Maloney was initially on the outs with Scheana Marie, she decided to put their differences aside because she felt it would benefit her relationship with Schwartz, who is close friends with Marie and her husband, Mike Shay. Unfortunately, Schroeder wasn't supportive of her decision. 

"I don't know where Stassi gets the impression that I can't maintain the integrity of our friendship while getting along with everyone else," Maloney wrote in a January blog. "I thought after all these years and my unwavering loyalty and support that she wouldn't even think twice. Yes, I changed my tune. I'm allowed to do that."

"I hope that Stassi one day will understand why I did what I did, and I hope that she realizes that it wasn't an act of betrayal but one of self-preservation," Maloney continued. "Until then, I'm very happy with my decisions and feel like I'm being true to myself."

Vanderpump Rules season 4 remains unconfirmed by Bravo.
