After a magazine created false stories claiming that talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi are living separate lives and heading for divorce, it's become clear that the rumors are false.

Gossip Cop, an online entertainment publication claims that a friend close to the duo is slamming reports that the couple is fighting and she says that they're doing just fine.

"It's ridiculous. The two of them are so happy. Like ridiculously happy," the insider told the site.

Ellen DeGeneres Opens Up About Marriage To Portia de Rossi & Having Babies

According to the site, the National Enquirer has been making up fake stories and their latest reports are simply 'empty speculation.'

The sites alleged insider recently said that, "Things have definitely been difficult for Ellen and Portia recently, so it's no surprise to hear they're spending time apart."

Earlier this week it was also reported that the couple were feuding over the decision to have a child together.

Classicalite reported that a source close to the couple revealed in the April issue of InTouch that while DeGeneres has publically slammed reports of the couple having a child, de Rossi still wants to have children.

"They used to discuss the possibility of kids often, either Portia carrying the baby or adopting," the insider says in the magazine.

"Ellen may be saying she never wanted kids, but her wife Portia, certainly did. Portia was heartbroken when Ellen came clean...her dreams were shattered."
