The New York Yankees will be looking to get their noses ahead again in their playoff series against the Baltimore Orioles. The ALDS series is currently locked at 1-1 after two games in Baltimore. The series now moves to New York with everything still to play for. The game can be watched for FREE online through live streaming (link provided below).

Orioles manager Buck Martinez has opted to call up right-hander Miguel Gonzalez, a 28 year old rookie who wasn’t even in the majors until July this season. He will amazingly start this pivotal game against one of the most intimidating sides in MLB, and could prove either an inspirational move or a reckless roll of the dice from Martinez.

Gonzalez though, despite his apparent inexperience, has already started twice at Yankee Stadium this season and is 2-0 with a 2.63 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 13 and 2/3rds innings. His overall record is 9-4 with a 3.25 ERA in 18 games (15 starts) this season.

“I like pitching in big games,” Gonzalez told the Baltimore Sun. “That’s what I’ve been doing. I’ve been doing it for the last eight years in Mexico especially. I have a little bit of experience in the playoffs in Mexico, not here in the states, but I think I’m just going to stay within myself and make good pitches and get them out as fast as possible.”

The Yankees will be reasonably satisfied coming back from Baltimore with things all tied up at 1-1. They will believe they can win two from three in front of their home New York crowd, although with these two teams being so evenly matched anything can happen.

The game will start at 7.37 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
