Outlander's Laoghaire won't be penitent following her turn as Jamie's seductress.

The temptress' actions will soon come to Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) attention, and the time traveler won't be at all pleased that this young woman is interfering in her brand new marriage. With their feelings for Jamie (Sam Heughan) acting as in immovable wall between them, Laoghaire (Nell Hudson) and Claire will continue to find themselves at odds as season 1 continues.

"Don't expect Laoghaire to apologize for that transgression-she truly believes that she and Jamie are meant to be, and that causes Claire to do something that could (read: will) come back to bite her," Entertainment Weekly reported on Friday.

Despite the growing rift between Laoghaire and Jamie's wife, Heughan understands where Laoghaire is coming from and claims the character bears unfair criticism.

"She's totally misunderstood," Heughan told TV Line. "I'm going to get shot down in flames now, but she's a good girl. It's really sad, this young love that she feels. Had Claire not turned up, he probably would have been with her and ended up with her."
