Except, he wasn't. He was right there in the arena about to make his entrance. As they make their way to the center of the ice to drop the puck, the announcer says there is a special guest here tonight.

"Welcome home from Afghanistan US Soldier and your son, Sergeant Daniel Urman," he says.

As soon as his dad realizes his son is there the two embrace in a huge bear hug and end up slipping on the ice.

As they get up and Urman hugs his mom, his dad continues to appear in disbelief as he holds his head and tried to wrap his head around the fact that his son was home.

Little Urman then puts his hands up in the air as the entire crowd cheers him on with a huge welcome home.

"What a moment here tonight. If you don't have a tear in your eye..." the announcer continues.

They then continue to replay the moment that the two ran into each other's arms and landed on the ice.
