According to a just-released report, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was taken into custody after allegedly going on a drunken rampage and kicking a police officer at the Beverly Hills Hotel's Polo Lounge.

This afternoon, sources told TMZ Richards was asked to leave the Polo Lounge because she was "too hammered" and "unruly."

"Richards went to a bathroom and refused to come out. Cops were called to the scene and we're told they had to 'drag her out' of the bathroom," the report stated. Richards "was reportedly belligerent, slurring her speech and reeked of booze."

Richards was reportedly taken to a nearby jail, where she was said to have kicked a police officer.

Richards has been charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, battery on a police officer and being drunk in public. After being issued a citation, Richards was later released.

As fans will recall, Richards, who has struggled with addiction for many years, admitted to a slip up on the latest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after taking one of her ex-husband's pain killers. However, at the time, she insisted it was not a relapse, as she didn't intend to alter her behavior.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 5 concludes on Tuesday at 8 p.m., with the series' unseen footage episode on Bravo.
