KeKe Palmer has set out to clear her name after former The Game actress Tia Mowry checked her for saying she had a crush on her husband, Cory Hardrict in an interview.

Tia Mowry Possibly Slams KeKe Palmer For Getting Close To Her Husband Cory Hardrict 'Not Cute'

It didn't take long for Palmer to speak out about the ordeal. While on Wendy Williams Thursday, the outspoken television host asked Palmer about rumors that she liked her Brotherly Love co-star, Hardrict.

Palmer wasn't shocked that the topic came up, and laughed off the rumors before she gracefully cleared the air. She said she met Hardrict at ten-years-old when he auditioned to play her big brother on her breakout film Akeelah & The Bee.

"It's all so twisted. Everything got misconstrued. In the interview I was talking about the whole 'Brotherly Love' cast grew up together...I was like 'I've known Corey since I was like 10...I wanna marry this man' as a ten year old. It was me quoting as a kid."

She added that she has nothing but love for Hardrict and Mowry.

"It's not my style."

Mowry sparked the controversy when she tweeted a short and sweet message that seemed to be for Palmer just a day before Palmer spoke with Williams.

Palmer has also recently been linked to singer August Alsina and NBA star J.R. Smith. She denied that she was dating either of them and clarified she's currently single.
