Reality star Erica Mena could be hanging out with the ladies at Litchfield Penitentiary pretty soon, a.k.a. the women of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black.

Mena, a veteran of Love & Hip Hop New York, spoke with the hosts of Hot 97 this week and strongly hinted that she might be appearing on Orange Is the New Black in the future, as reported by Wetpaint Entertainment.

The reality show star was reportedly asked about scripts she has received lately and Mena gave the hosts a tantalizing teaser.

"Well one of them is actually, something you guys are going to hear about real soon," Mena said, cryptically.

Mena was then asked if she was going to essentially play a more dramatic version of herself, she replied, "No, but I'm in jail."

Considering Orange Is the New Black is the most well known "jail" show, she was immediately asked if this was what she was referring to.

"I can't say anything," she said after being asked directly if she was headed to the prison dramedy. "My publicist is looking at me right now."

If this was a recent development, fans may not see Mena's character until season 4 considering the third season has already wrapped filming. Either way, fans of Mena are eagerly awaiting her announcement regardless of what show or movie she will be in.

Orange Is the New Black season 3 is scheduled for release on Friday, June 12 on Netflix. All 13 episodes are expected to be released at once, as usual.
