Moore, who plays Black Cindy on the Netflix prison dramedy, spoke with OKMagazine.com about "powerful" season 3 and how it will spark conversation among fans.

"I don't want to give anything away to you just yet because I feel like it's sort of going to be powerful season," she said, when asked if she could reveal anything about season 3. "I think [Jenji Kohan] has mentioned that this season will highlight a little bit about religion, which hits home to me in a personal way."

Moore is referring to Kohan's comment to The Hollywood Reporter that season 3 will be about faith. Kohan, the show's boss, is adverse to revealing spoilers ahead of time.

Elaborating further, Moore said that spirituality is something that connects many of us as people. Therefore, plenty of discussions will be had about season 3.

"It will certainly cause a lot of conversation, as they all do, which I think is something great about Orange," she said. "It evokes a lot of conversation and opinions, and it really brings to light how people feel and what people are thinking about and are struggling with."

It remains to be seen if Black Cindy will have another flashback in the upcoming season. She finally received one in season 2 during the episode Comic Sans. As one of the show's secondary characters though, the show may not delve into her backstory again.

Orange Is the New Black season 3 is scheduled for release on Friday, June 12 on Netflix. All 13 episodes are expected to be released at once.
