It's hard being the wife of a celebrity, especially being the wife of Darth Vader.

On Sept. 20, Darth Vader's wife was hit in the face by an Englishman during an argument.

However, this wasn't a scene from one of the "Star Wars" films.

The man now known as Darth Vader used to go by Mark Nokes before he made an official name change a year ago to the famed science fiction character, according to the The Huffington Post.

This Darth Vader was accused of sleeping with the girlfriend of Ikbal Hare. The 35-year old Hare responded angrily by confronting Vader and his wife. Vader's wife attempted to break up the fight between Hare and her husband, but that didn't turn out the way she planned. While attempting to punch Mr. Vader, Mrs. Vader got hit instead. The wife of the dark lord of the Sith was hit in the face.

Mrs. Vader wasn't seriously hurt with only a bruise on the cheek.

Hare left the scene of the alleged assault on Mrs. Vader, but was followed by several witnesses. The police arrested Hare two days later when he was found staying at his girlfriend's house.

The accused Hare pleaded guilty to having a blade in his possession, assaulting Mrs. Vader and other disorderly behavior. Hare can face 18 months probation, 200 hours of community service and mandatory anger management courses to curb his violent demonstrations.

While Darth Vader's wife will come out of this with only slight injuries, it looks like the Sith Lord may not come out completely unscathed as his ego was likely harmed for not being able to defend his wife.
