This clip also features new footage, and a glimpse of Cyberdyne's plans to switch things up in the world. Fans get to see the calm before the storm, a world that looks forward to Cyberdyne's revolutionary technology, preceding the ravaged, chaotic San Francisco.
"The waiting is over Cyberdyne will revolutionise technology with the ulitmate killer app, 'Genisys" the voiceover rolls over a very pristine looking, digitized city.
John Connor's character, who has also been converted to a Terminator and will be playing an antagonistic figure, is heard introducing himself as he emerges from a fire, quickly reverting to his previous form, unscathed. "I am not man, not machine, I am more," he says.
Another threatening statement in the film, most likely from the Cyberdyne boss: "Mankind dies tonight."
The movie has been directed by Alan Taylor and also stars Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as John Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, and J.K. Simmons as Detective O'Brien.
Terminator Genisys is scheduled to release in July 2015.
