It looks as though Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox along with the rest of the gang is missing one very important friend. Cox recently admitted that a Friends reunion would have been done a long time ago if it weren't for one former cast member flaking on the idea.

According to ABC News on Wednesday, Cox made it clear that unfortunately a reunion special is just not in the cards.

She said, "Let it go people, we are not doing it! It's just not going to happen."

She added that "The gang was gotten 80 percent there for a reunion but there's always one person who flakes at the end."

Cox also jokingly hinted that the one castmate might have been David Schwimmer, who played Ross on the hit sitcom, which ran from 1994 to 2004.

Cox said, "I'm not going to name names, but it may not be [David] Schwimmer," before giving the camera a knowing look.

Just recently, Aniston herself revealed that she was almost replaced on Friends when the series started out in 1994.

According to In Touch Weekly back in February, Aniston made the revelation during an interview at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Friday night. Apparently, she was almost fired by NBC for her other projects she was committed to at the time, including a show called Muddling Through.

She said, "So there was a period where I had to stand out of the photographs for the group shots, and I had phone calls from girlfriends saying, 'I'm auditioning for your part in Friends. They [execs] just took the chance that 'Muddling Through' would fail after the two episodes they picked it up for."
