Despite being one of the most popular TV shows on the air, Nashville may end up losing its chances of sticking around.

Is Juliette Heading Back In The Spotlight On 'Nashville?'

On Tuesday, CNN posted a story on a number of TV series' that have a possible chance of getting canceled- and it just so happens that the ABC country music drama was the first one on the list. The site mentioned that fans love the show, but the ratings have put it at a "close call." Apparently, it's been this way in the past and it's happening again this year.

If rating weren't great in the past couple seasons, there was obviously still a renewal then. So if things are the same this year, then the show could potentially get another chance, but it's too soon to tell.

Unfortunately, Nashville wasn't the only show that was mentioned for a possible cancellation. The Good Wife made that list along with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Revenge and Castle.

As for the remaining season of the drama starring Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, there is a possibility that Juliette (Panettiere) might be making her way back into the spotlight. The series' Twitter page posted a photo of the singer on stage with Avery as she held a microphone.

Considering that Juliette has always been determined in her music career, there is definitely a good chance that she's going to go out of her way to make sure her talent is recognized.

Nashville airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
