Cody Simpson Tells All About His Relationship With Gigi Hadid

Over the weekend, Mohamed Hadid, who is frequently seen on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alongside ex-wife Yolanda Foster, and best friend Lisa Vanderpump, spoke to a cameraman in Los Angeles about his daughter's relationship with the pop singer.

"I love him," Mohamed told TMZ about his daughter's boyfriend on Saturday. However, when the topic of marriage was brought up, Mohamed hinted they weren't quite ready to take that step.

"I think when they are ready, they can talk about marriage," he explained. "Is it too early? That's up to them. You know, they are mature kids. I don't think they'll listen to anybody. They will probably do what they want."

As for whether or not Simpson would have to ask permission to marry Mohamed's daughter, Mohamed said, "Absolutely. He has to ask for the hand, and the legs."

In an interview with Cosmopolitan Magazine earlier this year, Simpson discussed his relationship with Gigi.

"I like keeping it simple most of the time," Simpson told the magazine. "I like a nice, simple dinner—sushi for two is not a bad choice. Gigi loves sushi as well. And then maybe a movie or a show. A lot of times, we just like to stay in."

Gigi began dating Simpson in 2013, but split in early 2014, so that he could focus on his career. By Nov. 2014, however, the couple was back on.
