Juventus vs Nordsjaelland: Live Stream, Watch Online, 2:45 ET, 2012, UEFA Champions League
Juventus has the return of their captain Gianluigi Buffon and forward Mirko Vucinic to help them in their battle against FC Nordsjaelland on Tuesday, Oct. 23, in the UEFA Champions League Group E match.
Buffon's thigh injury left his sitting on the sidelines and watching his team's Saturday night Series A win over Napoli. Goal.com reported that the player, however, is "expected to be given the all-clear" to return on the field on Tuesday in place of Marco Storari. The reported had positive predictions for Juventus, stating that they will most probably be victorious, especially because of their recent wins against Chelsea and Shakhtar Donetsk.
The last time Juventus went up against a Danish team, Hvidovre IF Kobenhavn, they won 7-4 over two legs, according to Yahoo. However, the Italians have not won any of their last five European matches away from home, and the last four in a row were drawn.
FC Nordsjaelland is still looking for their first win of the competition, losing the first two matches of the Champions League and coming into Day 3 of the games with some hope that they will succeed. Tuesday's game will also be the first time that they will face an Italian team in a European competition, according to The Christian Post.
The team's coach, Kasper Hjulmand, said that the key player, and Nordsjaelland's biggest competitor, on the Juventus team is Andrea Pirlo.
"He is a joy to watch - at least when you are not up against him. I am not the first coach to try to find a way to close Pirlo down," he said. "It is an almost impossible task."
Juventus and FC Nordsjaelland will compete in the League Group E match at 2:45 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and 8:45 p.m. Local time in Demark. The game will take place in Parken Stadium, Denmark. Live steam of the game is available courtesy of Fox Soccer 2 Go.
