They both have potential hidden agendas, and as a result, Nicole (Arianna Zucker) and Xander (Paul Tefler) will force themselves into a more romantic situation to get what they actually want on Days of Our Lives.  

Nicole and Daniel Have A Relationship-Altering Fight

Nicole made a big show about ending things with Daniel (Shawn Christian) so she could get closer to Serena's (Melissa Archer) secret business partner, in an effort to get the real dirt on her enemy. She hopes that freeing herself up to be romanced by Xander will allow her to dig around a bit more and figure out just what Serena's been hiding all this time--so she can provide evidence to Eric (Greg Vaughan) and save him from potential heartbreak.  

Likewise, Xander also has a hidden agenda in trying to get closer to Nicole. He has been obviously jealous that Victor (John Aniston) has so much pride in both Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Daniel, yet very little praise for him. Getting close to Nicole will allow him to snake away the woman Daniel loves, and potentially get him to be more of the man he thinks he needs to be to make Victor proud. 

Nicole Makes A Surprising Decision

With their two radically different agendas in mind, the two will go out on a nice dinner date together--but their secret plans for each other could soon prove to cause complications for both--and all of the secret plotting could prove to be unsuccessful as a result.
