NKOTB band member Joey McIntyre experienced his first Mother's Day without his mother around, but his wife honored her memory through giving him a diet Coke bottle with her name, Katherine, on it.
So my sweet wife has been thinking about my mom today and feeling for me on my first Mother's Day without my mom here. (I'm ok by the way, but my wife is sweet to remind me of her). And B is as dedicated and amazing a mom as can be. The best I could do is take the kids out and let her have a nap this morning. Then we got back and she ran out for a treat- a diet coke. For some reason she was looking for the "share a coke" thing... I think they stopped doing them, but there was one was left: Katherine- my mom's name...and spelled with a K to boot :) Happy Mother's Day to all of the incredible moms out there. Have the special day you deserve. Xo
