Just last month Miley Cyrus ended her short-lived romance with Patrick Schwarzenegger.

The pair showed off a lot of PDA while they were together, but Schwarzenegger's spring break trip in Cabo appears to have caused quite the rift, which led to Cyrus calling things off.

Cyrus recently admitted to The Associated Press, while promoting the launch of her foundation The Happy Hippie Foundation, that she is bisexual.

Hollywood Life reported Thursday that Schwarzenegger loves that Cyrus swings both ways.

"Patrick has always been well aware of Miley's sexual preferences. The fact that she's bisexual is no surprise to him and it has actually always been a major turn on for him. It's just who Miley is and he's always been attracted to how comfortable she is in her own body and how open minded she is," a source dished.

The site also reported on Thursday that the college student and model has been trying to win the singer back, but it isn't working in his favor.

"If he could have her back, he would in a heartbeat. He's been reaching out to her, even sending her texts of cute animal videos, but she's not biting the bait," the source added.

"She's not responding in the way he would like her to," the sourced shared.

Apparently Schwarzenegger's lack of maturity accounts for Cyrus' unwillingness to patch things up.

"Miley is an old soul, beyond her years, and she probably needs to be with someone older and more established," the source explained, adding, "Patrick is a college student. Even when he was dating Miley, he was torn between his life as a student and hanging with his buddies versus being part of Miley's superstar world."
