Details On How Bruce Jenner Will Tell Family About Transition On ‘KUWTK’

The two-night special is set to show how Bruce Jenner told his family and ex-wife how his plans to transition from a male to female. It will also feature the famous clan’s reaction.

Kris revealed to E! News at the NBCUniversal Cable Upfronts presentations that the millions who are expected to tune in will see “raw, raw footage” when it comes to how the family first responded to Bruce’s shocking announcement.

Kardashian added, “It’s definitely Bruce’s story. It’s very raw, incredibly rough taped. You get very raw, real reaction from all of us because there’s a lot of things that are coming to the forefront while we’re taping.”

Kris admitted that once she found out Bruce’s secret, she questioned which part of their romance and marriage was ever real.

“That’s how I was feeling in that very moment. Before I had time to digest it. Some of us didn’t see it coming. And you see that. This is a very different episode. You see raw, raw, raw footage that we just didn’t touch. You see it happening while we were going through it.”

While the family has been accused of exploiting Bruce’s story on reality TV for money and publicity, Kris spoke on why they really wanted to share the intimate family moment with fans.

“The reason we did the special was that so the people that have been watching our show for so many years and have been invested in our family can really see what the kids and I went through with Bruce. Maybe it brings some comfort and hope to somebody going through the same thing.” Part one of Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce airs Sunday at 9/8c on E! Part two debuts Monday at the same time.
