It is only a matter of time before the world knows the truth about Forrester's lead model Maya Avant (Karla Mosley), and the company will now be forced to prepare for some major damage control on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Maya Comes Clean To Rick

As far as they know the story about Maya that Bill (Don Diamont) was planning to splash across his magazine covers has been pulled--but they know it's still a limited amount of time left before the world becomes aware of the truth.

"This may not end the way you guys want it to," Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) warns Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric (John McCook) in a preview clip for the Friday, May 15 episode.

Maya Is Running Out Of Time To Be Honest

As they worry about how to keep the story from causing untold amounts of damage to the company, there will also be concern about how Rick (Jacob Young) will handle the news after Maya finally tells him she's transgender--and Ridge will use the situation to once again make a play for the CEO position, reminding Rick's parents that he made a big deal about coining Maya as the future Matriarch of the company--a move that will now cause more scandal than the fact that Maya was born a man.

"He took down my mother's picture and replaced it with hers, a woman that we barely know," he says. "Now, we've kind of figured that all out too."

However, their belief that they may be safe from intense media scrutiny for the time being could be a major problem for them, because though Bill promised to pull the story, he is still secretly planning on running it anyway--and the move is causing strain in his new marriage to Katie (Heather Tom).

"You're a smart man and I'm sure that you're smart enough to know what kind of trouble you're going to land in if you publish this story about Maya," Katie warns him in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
