When Clements collapsed suddenly, he was rushed to the hospital where doctors worked to revive him.

"They said I was without a heartbeat for 20 minutes," the teen said.

When they finally got his pulse back, he was airlifted to a children's hospital where he woke up days later in the intensive care unit.

Now that he is recovering from this shocking event, he is telling the story of what happened when his heart stopped beating.

"When I was out those 20 minutes, I saw a man who had long ruffled hair and kind of a thick beard, and it didn't take me long to realize that that was Jesus," he said. "I went up to him and he put his hand on my shoulder and he told me everything would be alright and not to worry."

His father, Billy Clements, says he knows it is hard for people to believe, but for him and his family, it's truth.

"For him to wake up and tell us something he experienced like that. It's just you can't explain it. It's not humanly possible to explain it," he said.

His mother said that she doesn't care how it happened, but she is glad to have her son back.

"I'm just glad He decided to let me have my baby back," said Teresa Clements.

Zack Clements plans to return to school once he is cleared by doctors, which should be in the next few days.
