Another day, another rumor about Kate Gosselin. This time around there's a report that says the mother of eight supposedly "took off" and left her children in the custody of a nanny while she was sorting out some of her emotional issues in her custody battle with her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin.

According to OK! Magazine on Friday, the former reality television star "took off for four days last week" while her nanny struggled to take care of her children.

A source close to the 40-year-old blonde beauty told the site, "Kate is supposed to give Jon first right of refusal to take care of the kids when she goes away, and she didn't."

What makes things worse is that Kate allegedly didn't tell anyone where she went.

The insider added, "The kids told Jon that they didn't know where she went," the insider reportedly said, "and had no way to reach her because she doesn't give them her cell number."

The source added that Kate doesn't give her children her cell phone number because she's afraid that someone might get a hold of it and leak it to the public.

Meanwhile, a new report says that even though Jon is only seeking full custody of his daughter Hannah, he would like to take all eight kids under his wings, but simply can't.

According to E! News on Friday, Jon nor his lawyer are giving away many details, but that doesn't take away from the speculation that things aren't looking pretty good in Kate's household.

His attorney Kristen Doleva told E! News, "Jon's priority is what is best for the kids," adding he will "fight for them," but would not comment on the situation any further.
