Just a few months back it became known that Meghan Trainor wrote a song with One Direction's Harry Styles.

As that tidbit of information marinated in the minds of fans of the 1D stud and Trainor, more information was revealed from the "Dear Future Husband" singer.

In January she told BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw who is friends with Styles that "It was unbelievable. He's a very, very talented songwriter I was very impressed."

The track is called "Someday Maybe," which Trainor told Teen Vogue last month.

"Harry was super talented at writing, and his lyrics were incredible-probably my favorite lyrics in a song. I remember I wrote it at midnight the night before and sent it to my mom. I was so worried he was going to hate it," Trainor dished.

At that point it was still unknown when fans would hear the song, but Trainor spoke with E! News on Friday after her performance on Today's Toyota Summer Concert Series about the duet some more, revealing some possibly shocking details.

Many have assumed she'll record the duet with Styles since they wrote it together, but Trainor shared that she doesn't know if Styles will be on the track with her.

"I can't wait for that song to be out," she said, adding, "I don't know who's going to sing it. I want it for myself but I don't know who I'm going to sing it with yet."

Should Trainor and Styles team up for the duet or should she record it with someone else?

While we all wait to see who will duet with Trainor she did say the song is "very special" and she "can't wait for everyone to hear it."
