The news that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has joined forces with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam (Scott Clifton) to take over Forrester Creations has officially been revealed--and the ensuing battle for the CEO chair will tear some of the most powerful families in LA apart on The Bold and the Beautiful.

The Plan For A Hostile Takeover Is Renewed

The move to take over the company is pitting Ridge, Steffy and Thomas against the patriarch of the Forrester family, Eric (John McCook) and the current CEO, Rick (Jacob Young), which will cause major problems within the Forrester family. Eric was furious when he realized what was being planned, and now, he will try to use a tactic of making Ridge feel guilty to try and persuade him otherwise.

"I wish you were more like your mother," he says to Ridge in a preview clip for the Monday, June 1 episode.

Ridge Makes A Shocking Move In His Bid For CEO

However, the tactic won't work, and Ridge will continue to go through with his plan, possibly alienating himself and his children from the rest of his family for good in the process.

Meanwhile, the situation could also rip the Spencers apart as well. Liam was brought into the situation to give the edge to the opposition by bringing his family's shares, on the stipulation that his father, Bill (Don Diamont), who humiliated the company by publishing the truth about Maya being transgender, not be a part of it. Now, Liam will need to head back to Spencer headquarters and break the news to his gloating father that he isn't welcome to be a part of the plot he helped spring into action.

"Feels good doesn't it? Winning and winning big," Bill says to Liam in the clip.

When Liam breaks the news to Bill however that he isn't a part of the hostile takeover anymore however, it could destroy the relationship they've built.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
