She wasn't a complete DNA match for Ava Jerome (Maura West) but new details could emerge about Denise DeMuccio and her actual identity thanks to Ava's Mom, Delia (Ilene Kristen) on General Hospital.

Denise's Real Identity Is Revealed

Contrary to what everyone believed about her because of her shocking physical resemblance to Ava, the DNA results have come back to prove that while Denise isn't actually Ava trying to come back to town under a poor disguise, she has to be a direct relative of the 'dead' mobstress. Everyone wondered what that could possibly mean, when Delia arrived and claimed she could possibly clear things up.

However, Denise doesn't believe Delia could possibly know anything about her, and seems doubtful she could reveal the truth.

Sonny Confronts Denise

"How would this floozy know anything about me?" she asks in a preview clip for the Monday, June 1 episode.

Delia will then claim that the woman in question is indeed her daughter--further confusing everyone by what she could mean since Ava is still believed to be dead, and Denise was proven not to actually be Ava--which could lead to a shocking confession.

Besides Silas (Michael Easton), the only other person who knew Ava hadn't actually died after being shot by Carlos and dropped from a bridge by Sonny (Maurice Benard) was Delia, after her presumed dead daughter showed up in her bar after her memorial service. What she didn't know was that Ava was actually suffering from cancer, and had asked Silas to help her die.

As a result, what Delia could reveal is unknown--whether she divulges she saw Ava, or reveals that there was an unknown sibling, everyone will be shocked by what she has to say.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
