On Wednesday, Daily Mail posted a snapshot of Affleck as he was walking in Santa Monica, California with his mother and three-year-old son. Wearing a black sweater and dark jeans, the actor didn't smile as he held his son's hand.

Considering that Garner was nowhere to be seen, it might strike speculation that there could be something serious going on. Even though the actress could've just been at home or was busy working on a new film, the report from OK! Magazine indicated that the two were headed for a divorce. The site claimed that Affleck wanted his marriage to end before he has to promote his upcoming films.

"Ben wants the official statement to come out a few weeks before their 10th anniversary June 29- which he hopes will give enough time for the news to die down by the time he has to promote Batman v Superman and the other movies he has coming out next year," a source said.

According to another possible insider, the two stars don't seem to handle their problems well and apparently just suck it up.

"Often, when Ben and Jen have a problem, they just agree to ride it out and be miserable together until they can get some time apart," the source said. "Jennifer has close friends who think that she and Ben are a horrible fit, despite how much he loves being a father to those kids."
