Kardashian opened up about her and husband, Kanye West’s second pregnancy for the first time with E! News shortly after announcing it on a sneak peek up Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

As for North’s reaction, Kardashian said, “I say there’s a baby in my belly. So now she thinks everyone has a baby in belly. I think she thinks I’m saying belly button. She doesn’t really understand yet. She will soon maybe.”

Kardashian has been really open about her fertility struggle which made it difficult for her and Kanye to conceive this time. She went on to dish how ecstatic they are to be having another child.

“It has been a really long journey for us. We didn’t think it was possible. We’re so, so, so grateful and so thankful. We’re like over the moon.” She said on the on the red carpet of the CFDAs. It was her first appearance since the pregnancy news hit.

Kardashian took a pregnancy test at home because she wanted to know right away if she was expecting. She said she couldn’t wait to tell Kanye they would be parents again.

“I was like ‘Baby! I’m pregnant!’”

It’s not clear how far along she is as her baby bump hasn’t quite made an appearance yet. But the child is set to arrive near the end of this year. North will be turning two later this month.
