The actress and new mom was notified right away, but can now rest easy since the 30-year-old stalker has been recaptured.

Yahoo! Celebrity reported by way of AP Wednesday that Dunn was recaptured that day in Santa Monica, according to sheriff's officials.

The sheriff's spokeswoman Nicole Nishida revealed that deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's major crimes division took Dunn into custody in an alley about a half-mile from the beach.

Authorities believe that Dunn managed to escape from the Olive Vista Behavioral Health Center by climbing through a bathroom window and then scaling a barbed-wire fence since he never returned from taking a shower.

Deputy Chief Reaver Bingham of the Los Angeles County Probation Department said officials went looking for him immediately after he didn't return from taking said shower.

Dunn was arrested for violating his probation. In 2013 he was sentenced to six months of rehabilitation and five years of probation. He was also ordered to stay away from Kunis and her representatives for 10 years.

"Mr. Dunn's arrest was the result of the diligent efforts led by the Los Angeles County Probation Department's special enforcements operation and the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department's major crimes division," the sheriff's officials said in a statement.

Kunis must be relieved that Dunn is off the streets again.
