She had left Port Charles and her storied on and off romance with Luke (Anthony Geary) in the past a long time ago, but Laura (Genie Francis) is now back in Port Charles and ready to once again stake her claim on her former great love on General Hospital.

Tracy and Luke Stunned By Unexpected Guest At Engagement Party

Laura arrived back in town and crashed the party to celebrate Luke and Tracy's (Jane Elliott) engagement, a shock to everyone there. However, Laura will shock them all even further when she reveals that she has every intention of reuniting with Luke now, after a long time apart.

"I'm here for Luke," she says to a stunned Tracy in a preview clip for the Monday, June 8 episode.

Luke Pays Anna A Visit

Naturally, her announcement won't sit well with Tracy, or Scott (Kin Shriner), who has his own storied past with Laura as well.

"Laura never could stay away from trouble," he says to Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) in the clip.

Laura may reveal her reasons for seeking Luke out again now to be related to his own personal breakthrough about what caused his dangerous alter ego to emerge over the past year. After reuniting with his older sister Patricia, Luke relived the night both his parents died--and realized he was the one who had killed both of them, and his repressing the memories caused him to lash out the way he had.

Laura also had a similar experience, losing touch with reality herself years ago when she realized she has once killed her stepfather's lover, and may take the similar back stories and bizarre consequences later on is life as a sign she and Luke genuinely do belong together now, once and for all.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
