With the announcement that each season of FX's American Horror Story is connected, will any past seasons affect Hotel this October?

Will Finn Wittrock Come Back For More 'American Horror Story'?

American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy previously revealed that each season of the show is essentially in the same universe. This is what allowed Pepper (Naomi Grossman) and Sister Mary Eunice (Lily Rabe) to appear in both Asylum and Freak Show. With this in mind, will there be any possibility of crossover in Hotel, the highly anticipated fifth season coming up?

There has been no indication of crossover thus far, but there's plenty of fun to be had in speculating. If the same pattern of odd-numbered seasons taking place in present day comes continues with Hotel, there is a chance that characters from Murder House or Coven could show up for cameo appearances.

Murder House ended with Constance (Jessica Lange) raising Vivien's (Connie Britton) baby, who turns out to be the Antichrist. There could potentially be a hint at the Antichrist in Hotel assuming it's taking place in 2015.

As for Coven, the season ended with witches essentially coming out of the closet in the modern world. Hundreds of girls enrolled in the New Orleans witch academy at the end of the season, so it's possible we could see one of two in Hotel.

Also, if there are any flashbacks in Hotel there is no limit to potential crossovers from past seasons like Asylum and Freak Show.

It all depends on how much Murphy and company are willing to connect the seasons as opposed to making each one its own thing. More details are sure to be announced in the months to come.
