Shannon Beador might be going through one of the darkest episodes of her life, but that doesn't mean that she's not willing to find a light and pull through. The Real Housewives of Orange County star has dismissed speculation that she is going to pull the plug on her marriage even though he reportedly cheated on her with his mistress last year. Instead, she is looking to repair her marriage for the sake of the couple's three daughters.

According to her Bravo blog, the reality television star admits that she decided it would be best if she went public with the news first before an outside source went to the media about the extra marital affair.
She wrote, "David and I do not want to adversely impact our children and are hoping to rewrite our future to positively influence them."
Shannon also said that even though her husband said the affair was one of the highlights (and lowlights) of his life, she's still willing to forgive him and work past the heartache together.
She wrote, "When watching David reveal the highs and lows in his life, I felt like I was punched in the stomach. I saw that he listed the affair as both a 'high' and a 'low.' I heard him say that the affair gave him 'new life.' Today, I am trying to process through the hurt that I feel from his comments. Some moments can be difficult, but I am focusing on the positive. I remind myself of the commitment that David has made to both me and our family. He has not only made himself accountable to me, but to everyone who watches the show, and for that, I am grateful beyond words."
