Popular YouTube star Ingrid Nilsen just made one of her most powerful videos on YouTube with an important message for all her fans.

On Tuesday, the 26-year-old vlogger took to her video site where it's already pretty obvious that there's something she's struggling to say. After taking a lot of breaths, she rips the band-aid off and announces that she's gay.

She then lets out some tears and reveals how much better she feels now that she's said it.

Nilsen also explains how she's felt in the past when she was hiding this and people could only see so much of her.

"I have had this wall up for so much of my life, but it wasn't like this brick or stone wall, I've described it to my friends as this glass wall, where you could see me but you were never getting all of me because there was always that barrier there," the YouTube celeb says.

She continues by pointing out how difficult her past relationships have been due to her confusion over her sexuality and that made her feel ashamed. But when she gets to the part about her brave choice to come out, she mentions how she's coming to terms with accepting herself for who she is.

"I want to live my life unapologetically because I am proud of who I am and I am not going to apologize for who I am anymore," Nilsen said. "This is the life that I have always lived in my head and now it's real, and I can't believe it's real. I am giving myself my best chance and so should you. I love you guys."
