With the cast of Orange Is the New Black continuing to grow, one actress already making headlines is Rose. Playing new inmate Stella Carlin, Rose is making her U.S. acting debut in the popular prison show.

Rose spoke with Entertainment Weekly on Thursday about who Stella is and how she'll cause trouble in the prison.

"Stella is sort of an androgynous, cool, charismatic, and charming girl who I think also is pretty gender-fluid," Rose explained. "She definitely causes some waves."

She gets into a bit of a love triangle with Piper (Taylor Schilling) and Alex (Laura Prepon) in season 3, causing some major drama.

Rose was as surprised as anyone that she was able to land such a great part in her U.S. debut.

"I didn't think I would come here and end up - my first big job is maybe, arguably, one of the biggest television shows around at the moment with some of the best actors of our time," she said, expressing her gratitude.

Rose is known for being a model primarily, though she did write and star in the short film Break Free, which may have helped her land the part, according to the actress.

Despite this, she still gets pretty intimidated when it comes to acting onscreen.

"Acting is the one thing that scares me s-less," she said, before clarifying. "I could live my whole life being so comfortable doing things I've already worked hard to not be nervous at or I could continue to push the envelope and make myself uncomfortable and learn and see what I'm capable of and acting is definitely that."

Orange Is the New Black season 3 was just made available on Netflix. Users can now watch all 13 episodes of the new season.
