According to Ireland's TV3, the Irish hunk said the story is nothing more than two people simply falling in love with each other.

He said, "It's mainly about love. In quite a classic way really - it's just like Shakespeare used to write it. He said, "We got along well and were able to laugh about the same things. During filming, we managed to develop something like a friendship, which was particularly important for the S&M scenes. Of course it wasn't always easy, but we could rely on one another. And thank God we didn't film the erotic parts on the first day, we did them towards the end. That helped..."
