There might be a good reason why the Duggar family is trying to do as much damage control as possible ever since reports surfaced that Josh Duggar sexually molested five young girls, including his sisters, when he was a teenager back in 2002. Now, another report is claiming that the 19 Kids & Counting family wants to hold on to their celebrity status because they are so used to getting things for free.

According to OK! Magazine, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have gotten so accustomed to the perks that come with being a reality television family that they are doing anything to keep their show on the air, despite the backlash they've been getting lately.

"They say their motto is 'Buy used and save the difference,' but it should be, 'Why buy when you can get it free?'" a source reportedly said. "They promise publicity, then gush about the products or businesses on social media."

What's more, the family's many television specials were also paid for by sponsors. Jil Duggar's wedding to Derick Dillard last year was "paid" for with plenty of promises.

The insider added, "For example, the girls needed shoes, so they went into a Famous Footwear and walked out with new sandals, compliments of the corporate office."

If that weren't enough, the TLC network allegedly also helped build the Duggar's family home in Arkansas.

The site says that the network "helped pay for plumbing and electricians during the construction" and "even found sponsors to provide food and appliances."

So far, the Duggar family has not made any comments about the rumors. Keep up with Enstars for all the latest news on all the Duggars and 19 Kids & Counting.
