On Tuesday, series creator Lizzy Weiss posted a photo of Bay as she seems to be in a romantic embrace with someone. It's not mentioned who this guy is, but Weiss teased that enough in her caption.

This caused fans to burst with anticipation with comments that say, "Nine weeks, six days. It's so long" and "Why must you tease me like this? I don't like it."

Fans also left comments by putting their support on Bay and Emmett getting back together. But time will tell on what happens next for those two.

As for the remaining storyline of Switched at Birth, things are going to take a difficult turn for pretty much everyone. In a report from E! News, Lea Thompson (Kathryn) pointed out how hard it's going to be for the family as they face harsh realities coming up.

"With Bay dealing with the fallout from her break-up, Kathryn always tries to keep a stiff upper lip and keep everyone moving forward with a lighter touch," Thompson said. "She's going to move forward with her musical, but she's also going to get hit with a lot of new drama."

Switched at Birth returns on Monday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
