The time-hopping series followed Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies) in post-war Scotland and was terrorized by Black Jack Randall (Menzies) in the 18th century, and now viewers will meet Alex Randall (Laurence Dobiesz).
The younger brother of the sadistic Red Coat, Alex will be the antithesis of his big bro. It seems evil isn't in the genes.

"A curate and secretary for the Duke of Sandringham, Alex is described as gentle, loving, and kind," The Wrap reported.
Alex will enter into the adventure as Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and her new hubby take up residence in Paris. Claire's knowledge of the future will finally come into play as she and Jamie (Sam Heughan) work to stop the Jacobite Rising in its tracks. Bonnie Prince Charles' attempts to regain the English thrown are well known to the 20th century nurse, and the Highlander and Sassenach will attempt to quell the movement before it can deal a devastating blow to Scotland.
