Emily and Jack walked off into the proverbial sunset as Revenge drew to a close, but there are some members of the cast that believe the blissful couple don't deserve the Disney ending that came their way.

Nick Wechsler (Jack), for one, was hoping Revenge's series finale would play out a much darker storyline. The actor believes viewers and 'shippers alike were certainly entitled to a storybook ending, but he doesn't think Emily's (Emily VanCamp) past entitled her to a pleasant future.

"I think the fans [deserved the ending], but I feel like Emily didn't," Wechsler told Celebified. "And Jack didn't."

Slow down there, Satan. Or better yet, clarify why a good-hearted man shouldn't live out his days as a contented, white-picket fence suburbanite.

 "I don't mean he didn't deserve a happy ending," Wechsler quickly added. "He deserved a happy ending but he didn't deserve for someone who f---ed him over for so long to get the happy ending that she wanted after f---ing him over for so long."
