The ride, called Supercharged, is set to be open its gates to visitors on June 14 and is already drawing positive reviews. USA Today reported from the set of the thriller ride and also got Diesel to talk about it. "It makes you feel like you're at the cutting edge of technology when you're creating a ride like this. It didn't take a lot of convincing," Diesel said. The actor will appear in a clip with co-stars Michelle Rodriguez and Dwayne Johnson, in which they will urge participants to help them protect "the witness." This will be the task at hand as the passengers will take the ride of their lifetime.

Diesel also spoke about how it the idea of the ride was quite an obvious one, even though it might not have struck him before.

"A ride around the Fast & Furious franchise is long overdue," Diesel said. "But in another way, I never even thought about doing the ride before now."

The actor also wrote his own lines for the ride, and was all for taking things a notch above to get the audience on board. "I had to Dom-up the dialogue," Diesel said. "I know where we're trying to go with this ride, I'm assisting the audience participation."

Speaking about the success of Supercharged at Universal, Diesel was pretty confident, even taking a funny swipe at the other ride at the theme park, the one based on the Minions from Despicable Me.

"(Supercharged) will rule for years," says Diesel. "And can we crush Minion booty? Only my minions bring about real destruction."

Fast and Furious 8 will release on April 15, 2017.

Furious 7 hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
