He was sure he had gotten away with killing both Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughan), but Xander (Paul Telfer) is about to learn that he was not only unsuccessful, but that he is about to face unexpected consequences for what he tried doing on Days of Our Lives.  

Nicole & Eric Are Rescued

Soon after leaving Nicole and Eric to die in the furnace room of Nicole's office, he was tranquilized in the park and brought to a warehouse, where he was tied up--coming to as a shadowy figure descended upon him. Now, he will realize who has kidnapped him--his own uncle, Victor (John Aniston).  

Victor learned that Xander had attempted to kill Nicole and Eric through Daniel (Shawn Christian), and as a result, he will make sure his nephew will pay the ultimate price for his crimes--death. Xander had been partially motivated to try and commit his crime after realizing Nicole wasn't genuinely into him--and still wanted Daniel. Being that Xander was actually a relative of Victor's, yet still received secondary favoritism to Daniel, drove him crazy and helped influence his plot. 

Nicole & Eric Bond Over Their Fate

Now, Victor will make sure that Xander understand he will never be a welcome site within the Kiriakis family ranks again--and for good measure, he will have his henchmen hold Xander still as he slits his throat, ensuring his nephew can never cause problems for anyone Victor loves again.
