Tyler Oakley News 2015: YouTuber Talks ‘The 2016 Presidential Election’ On Twitter [VIDEO]
While YouTube star Tyler Oakley is known to obsess over Bea Miller, Tori Kelly, Fifth Harmony and One Direction to name a few, among other more fun topics on his channel, he is well in-the-know about politics.
Last year Oakley actually got to sit down and chat with President Barack Obama, which you can check him out talking about below.
Anyway, the 26-year-old is passionate about many social issues such as healthcare and the prevention of suicide among the LGBT community.

So, now the 2016 presidential election is nearing closer and Oakley decided to mention it Wednesday.
"[T]he 2016 presidential election is almost here," he shared before dishing who he is keeping tabs on in the candidacy pool.

He named Democrat Bernie Sanders who is from Vermont and fellow Democrat Hillary Clinton.
He then shared some wisdom with his over 4 million Twitter followers about learning which potential candidate's views they most agree with. He thinks the website ISideWith.com is a great tool to help determine where you stand politically.

"[I] was surprised by my own results," he admitted.
He also revealed that while in high school he volunteered during elections at polling stations regardless of the fact that he couldn't vote at the time.
& even if you can't vote in 2016, that doesn't mean you can't campaign or volunteer. when i was in HS i volunteered at polling stations!

As the election nears closer it would be interesting to see this YouTuber make a video regarding it since he does seem to follow politics closely.
