Braxton and K. Michelle have gone head-to-head countless times on Instagram and Twitter and have yet to meet one another in person. But that’s all set to change this weekend as Braxton and K. Michelle will not only unite but perform together at the BET Awards Sunday.

Entertainment Tonight caught up with the If I Don’t Have You singer who said it was simply time for them to put their beef behind them.

“With the whole women empowerment and everyone coming together and everyone coming from a place where we can all understand each other, I’m doing a very special performance with myself and K. Michelle.

In the past we’ve both had a lot of disagreements just about life in general…I’m just really excited because I’m really about girls sticking up for each other. It’s just time for the nonsense to stop. It’s time to empower each other and be great.”

She also took to her Instagram to answer many fans’ questions of why she finally chose to let bygones be bygones. She said that it’s much more simple than fans thought it would be.

They started feuding after K. Michelle made claims on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta that her ex-boyfriend Memphitz physically abused her. Braxton, who is good friends with his now wife Toya Wright, took to Twitter to make it clear she didn’t believe K. Michelle. Since then the ladies have been going back and forth and dissing each other on social media and in interviews.
