Bayern Munich vs Valencia Live Stream Free, Watch Online: Champions League, 2:45 PM ET
Because of a loss in Belarus, Bayern Munich are now level with Valencia as far as points are concerned at the top of Group F in the Champions League.
In other words, Tuesday's match is more important than ever because it will give the upper hand to the winning team. Reports do suggest, however, that a draw might make both teams happy as well, since it is almost guaranteed that they are both moving on the play in the advanced rounds.
"Bayern have only failed to win three times this season, and expecting a slip-up here would be perverse... They're thoroughly capable of dismantling Valencia, home or no," according to SB Nation. "[But] a draw here would mean that the status quo is maintained. That's good enough for both teams, and it's difficult to imagine Valencia being that wound up about finishing second rather than first."
The teams will go head-to-head on Tuesday in Estadio Mestalla, in Valencia, Spain. The game will start at 2:45 p.m. ET and live video streaming is available courtesy of Fox Soccer TV for subscribers and free here.
As far as players, goalkeeper Diego Alves is expected to replace Vicente Guaita for team Valencia, according to Yahoo, and Fernando Gago is still out because of an injury. Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes rested several of his players in last week's match against Nuremberg, and he is expected to return Philipp Lahm, Franck Ribery, Thomas Muller and Claudio Pizarro to the field. Arjen Robben is still out with an injury.
"A win would put us through to the next round but it will not be easy," Heynckes said. "Valencia have great offensive players. Roberto Soldado is a brilliant player whom I know very well but they also have players like Jonas and Nelson Valdez. We are very strong defensively but we have to be very careful."
