As promised the showrunners of Orphan Black teased about some plot point in season 4 at the show's Comic-Con presentation on July 10.

Season 4 To Introduce A 'New Kind Of Enemy'?

Graeme Manson particularly had something to say about Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) being alive. The co-creator was cryptic but it seems like he was hinting at Delphine being resuscitated for the next chapter. The Hollywood Reporter reported from the event and got some of Manson's key comments on the subject.

"Nobody's safe on the show, but she's Orphan Black dead," he said.

Showrunner John Fawcett chimed in, suggesting that he very happy about the fan response to Delphine's purported death.

"It's great - I love that you're all up in arms about it," he said. "It's a mystery, guys. There's a reason why there's a mystery."

Manson had also addressed the issue in a previous interview with the publication last month.

Manson revealed that he would really want for Delphine to return but they would need good enough reason in the story to support that.

"We wanted to make a really strong choice with the character this season, and worked with Evelyne to craft the role of Delphine - stemming from that promise she made to Cosima - and to tell a story about true love, but impossible love," he said of Delphine's character arc. "As for next season, that remains to be seen."

The finale of season 3 aired on June 20.
