According to Monday's report from SKJ Bollywood, an engagement could happen as early as this week. Kaif will be celebrating her 32nd birthday this Thursday where her boyfriend may get down on one knee and pull out a ring.

"Ranbir has been putting off the marriage plans while Katrina is very keen to make it official," a source said. "He will finally pop the big question to her on her birthday."

The site also gave the impression that the actress really wants this to happen.

"Katrina is getting impatient," the source said. "Her birthday seems like a good time to take their relationship to the next level."

It's difficult to tell if these two will ever put a ring on it or not since Kapoor has made it clear in the past that marriage is not on his mind right now. Just last May, he mentioned that he's doing well in his life and any reports about an engagement are false.

"There's no truth to it," he said via DNA. "Once we decide to get married, everyone will know. It will be one of my biggest decisions ever, so we will announce it in a big manner. Right now, I am happy and secure with my life. There is love in my life and when we decide to take it to the next level, sabko pata chal jayega."
