Fans have gotten used to seeing Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s up and down relationship air out on E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians; now the Kardashians’ close friend Ryan Seacrest has opened up about most recent breakup that could have ended things for good.

Word is that Kardashian called it quits with Disick after he was spotted getting way too close to one of his ex-girlfriends that he dated during one of his and Kardashian’s off moments. Seacrest, who is the creator and executive producer of Keeping Up With The Kardashians made an appearance on Today earlier this week and said he hopes all ends well for the two.

“The show is reality, so whatever happens, happens in real time. But obviously you hate to see a split with the people that you know and the family that you know and love, so hopefully things can work out for the best for them. But never a dull moment in that world. Literally, lots of activity.”

He didn’t confirm whether their split means Disick will no longer be on the show. But the Kardashians rarely shy away from airing their romances on the show. So it’s likely even the split will be one of Kardashian’ story lines in the upcoming season.

Kardashian and Disick have been off and on for nearly 10 years. She just gave birth to their third child, Reign, back in December. They are also parents to five-year-old Mason Dash and Penelope, 3.
