Demi Lovato is looking forward to being married to Wilmer Valderrama.
Although the two aren't yet engaged, Lovato recently revealed she was ready to say "yes" whenever her longtime boyfriend pops the question.
"If he asked [to marry me] tomorrow I would say yes," Lovato told ZM Radio, according to a report by the UK's Daily Mail Online on Thursday. "I am very, very in love with him, [but] we will probably wait a little bit longer."
Lovato and Valderrama began dating five years ago, when she was 18 and he was 30. At the time, many fans and critics questioned why a 30-year-old actor would romantically pursue a teenage girl. Admittedly, it led Lovato to have her doubts about whether or not their relationship could last.
"I used to, definitely, whenever we were first starting to date about like five years ago, because I was 18 and he was 30, so people were definitely judgmental," she explained. "Even, like, my parents were kind of like, 'I don't know why someone his age is wanting to date someone so young.'"
"After a while, everyone started to see that what we have is real and incredible and very special and we have been together ever since," she continued.
Earlier this year, after being flooded with rumors of a possible engagement, Valderrama set the record straight, teasing of the possibility of a future engagement at the same time.
"We're not engaged, but you know it's something that I definitely look forward to in the future," Valderrama told E! News. "We'll see. You know, who knows?"
