Will The 'BMS' Movie Help Revive The Show?

In updates to both his Twitter and Facebook accounts, Brooks revealed the same information that his co-star Alan Ritchson has often relayed about the film still being with Lionsgate, which will be distributing it-though he admits he doesn't have much else to report, including a release date.

"It's comin! Just waitin 2 hear from our good friends @Lionsgate when they wanna release @BMSTheMovie Please be patient! I can't wait either," he wrote Oct. 1. on Twitter.

Is 'BMS' The Movie Being Held Up By Its Distributor?

That same day he posted a lengthier explanation to his Instagram page, along with an image from the show.

"Kay so a lot of people have been asking about the @bmsthemovie release...and trust me when I say...it's coming!," he wrote. "Hopefully we'll know soon on a release date!!! We finished it last year and have turned it in to our good friends at Lionsgate and we're just waiting to hear from them, when they wanna release it! His update came shortly after Ritchson revealed the movie could be downgraded from a theatrical release, but that there was other good news that the buzz surrounding it has prompted talks of reviving the show again.

"...I don't know much more than you do about the release, when/where etc," he wrote in a Reddit chat. "But I can say this...There is a lot of talk going on behind the scenes about bringing the show back. Something we're excited about. Also, just got the first cut of the first trailer about an hour ago. Omg I can't wait for you to see this."
