In a new interview, the Teen Mom OG star, who faced criticism for giving Sophia such a large amount of cash, explained why she was such a generous tooth fairy.

“Loosing your teeth should be something special, I like to add passion and something special to everything including loosing teeth," Abraham explained to Rumorfix on Thursday. "These years are flying bye and soon $600 won’t be surprising to my daughter and the tooth fairy will just be imaginary and made up, so $600 for one tooth is a great addition to her college fund and let’s her have a big surprise when she woke up that morning.”

Earlier this month, Abraham revealed her daughter's surprise, along with a photo of her missing tooth, on Twitter.

“You’re only a kid once!" Abraham continued. "I look forward to surprising my daughter and cherishing all our special moments as she grows up into an adult.”

Farrah Abraham and the cast of Teen Mom OG are reportedly in production on season six, although no official announcement from MTV has yet been made.
