Brooks Ayers is done with chemo -- at least for 90 days.

Heather Dubrow On Brooks Ayers' Cancer: 'It's Really, Really... Disturbing'

In a sneak peek of next Monday's new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, the longtime boyfriend of Vicki Gunvalson announces he will be stopping chemotherapy, and starting an antioxidant treatment.

"Starting tomorrow, I'm pausing chemo," Ayers explains to the women of the cast, including Tamra Barney and Meghan King Edmonds. "I'm taking a new blast of antioxidants."

Brooks Ayers Claims To Have Lost 38 Pounds During Chemo

"It's a pretty cool story. You might know this doctor," Ayers tells Heather Dubrow. "He refers people to Terry sometimes. He was diagnosed with cancer 11 years ago, had four years of chemotherapy and he has the same blood, cancer, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma diffuse large b cell that I did, or that I do, he did. And he started blasting his own body with Resveratrol. He takes 5,000 mg a day, and within six months, completely gone."

When Edmonds asks Ayers if he's worried that something bad could happen after he ceases chemotherapy, Ayers explains, "The chemo I was on was every six weeks, and so they want me to jump on the more intensive chemo but I was, from 2009 to 2013, in remission, and then 2013 a little blip, and then it came back in 2014. I've done chemo for five years, different types, and this past one obviously didn't work."
